4. Scissors
5. Elastic hair band or other hair accessories you want to attach the flower to.

R2 – *ch2, hdc on next st, ch2, slst onto the same st, repeat * 8 times.
R3 – ch, *sc on next st of R1, ch2, repeat * 8 times, slst on the first ch of the round. Bring the 8 chain loops to the back of the work.
or you can do the sc and ch2 directly at the back of the work.
R4 – ch, sc on chain loop, ch2, dc3, ch2, sc on the same loop, repeat the same on the next loop until you have done all the 8 loops.
R5 – ch, *sc on next st of R3, ch 5, skip next R3 st, repeat * 4 times, slst to the first ch of the round. Bring all 4 chain loops to the back of the work. Or, you can do the sc and ch5 directly to the back of the work.
R6 – ch4, * ch, tr on the chain loop, ch3 slst on the top loop of the tr, ch, tr on the same loop, repeat * 12 times. Repeat 4 times to complete the 4 loops round, slst to the 4th ch at the beginning of the round.
foBeaded Ruffle Flower
Insert beads to the yarn
Follow R1 – R5 above.
R6 – ch4, * ch, tr on the chain loop, ch with 1 bead and slst on the top loop of the tr, ch, tr on the same loop, repeat * 10 times. Repeat 4 times to complete the 4 loops round, slst to the 4th ch at the beginning of the round.
You may do more tr to get more ruffle look on the flower.Assembly
Sew button at the center, keep the yarn don’t cut it yet.
Sew elastic hair band or other accessories to the back, tighten, knot, cut and hide away the yarn end.
Add some quick drying glue to secure the hair band if you wish.Note:
1.You may do more tr at the last round to get more ruffle look on the flower. Or, reduce the number of tr in each loop just in case you are running out of yarn.
2. If you find that it is difficult to insert yarn through the hole of the bead, use a small dot of pva craft glue (or mod podge) on the end of the yarn, twist the end while the glue is drying to shape a pointy tip. Let it dry for a while as it will be harder later.
R1 – ch2, sc 8 on the second chain from hook, slst on the ch at the beginning of the round.
R2 – *ch2, hdc on next st, ch2, slst onto the same st, repeat * 8 times.
R3 – ch, *sc on next st of R1, ch2, repeat * 8 times, slst on the first ch of the round.
Bring the 8 nos. of 2-ch-loop to the back of the work.
If you are able to make the 2-ch loop at the back of the work directly, skip the next 2 pictures and go straight to R4.
This is the front side with loops now at the back.
This is how the back looks like after the loops are there.
R4 – ch, sc on chain loop, ch2, dc3, ch2, sc on the same loop, repeat the same on the next loop until you have done all the 8 loops.
Since the chain loops are at the back of the work, you will need to flip the R2 petals a little to work on the loop.
